  1. Hi TinHonze,

I think it varies with each child. Some kids just want to be comforted in order to fall asleep so will breastfeed/take a bottle and want to be held, others may be gassy (as our first one was) and so may need constant burping or infant massage. There are many resource sites out there, but sometimes trial and error are the only ways to really know. I pray that your infant will learn to sleep through the night for you, and know that though this may seem like a long time, it will fly as kids grow so fast when babies. One moment to the next they are getting bigger, stronger, and smarter, as well as more self-reliant (which can be encouraging for any parent), so hang in there, attend mom groups when you can/ask for support from friends/family, and remember God is with you – pray for help and He will help you. Thanks!
